Weld-on Hoop Load Bars

Welded hoop bars are hoop bars that have been welded together for additional strength, durability, and as a more permanent shoring solution. Cargo bars help prevent the cargo from moving from the front to the rear of the trailer. The main purpose of hoop bars is to help prevent cargo that is taller and more prone to tipping over from sliding out of place.

This also helps eliminate the need for using multiple cargo bars, as the wider surface area can accomplish the same job in less time using fewer cargo bars. Cargo bars can also be used to separate the cargo into organized zones inside the trailer which can be ideal for those making numerous stops.

The non-slip rubber feet located at each end of the bar help hold the bar in place while in transit to the next location and prevent bumps from causing the bars to become unsecured. The 4×4 rubber feet provide additional grip compared to the industry standard 2×4 feet, which offer less surface area.

One of the major benefits of weld-on hoop bars compared to bolt-on hoop bars is that no assembly is required and can immediately be used inside of your trailer once it arrives at your location.

Due to the oversized dimensions of welded hoop bars, they cannot be shipped using standard ground shipping and must be shipped via LTL freight. What Are Cargo Bars?

Cargo bars (also called cargo load lock bars or load distribution bars) are made from either heavy-duty steel or aluminum to prevent cargo from moving forward, backward, or from side to side of enclosed trailers. This helps to improve the safety of the driver or dockworkers when opening the rear trailer doors, as cargo shifts can cause the cargo to lean against the dock doors or even fall out toward the driver when unloading.

Cargo bars are used to help reduce costly damage claims and ensure that the cargo arrives at the next destination in the same condition it left in. Cargo bars work best when paired with dunnage airbags, which help reduce load shifts from side to side of the trailer.

Warning WARNING: Cargo bars do not have load ratings due to the varying conditions of trailer sidewalls. Ratings on the aluminum beams and steel beams are based on and tested at an evenly distributed weight.
