An extended wood beam socket can be used to latch into installed e-track rail systems to create multi-level shelving, quick dividers to separate loads, shoring applications to prevent pallets or boxes from tipping over, or even used to create a bed that can be removed when not in use.

To create shelving using extended wood beam sockets, you will want to run at least two beams and then use plywood or OSB on top. If you are creating a more permanent shelving solution, you can optionally use screws for extra security and improved safety.

Extended wood beam sockets work great in enclosed trailers, box trucks, work vans, delivery vehicles, RVs, camper trailers, dry vans, and DIY projects, to name a few popular uses. Wood beam sockets do not have a set working load limit because E Track installs directly into the wall, and strength can vary by manufacturer.
