Our Auto Tie Down Strap with RTJ Cluster, Chain, and Hook is one of the best ways to secure a vehicle to a rollback or car-hauler trailer. At the short end of the ratchet strap is our 3/8-inch clevis grab hook chain, which can latch into a variety of rings, recessed pan fittings, or the trailer’s side rails. The chain anchor is made of Grade 70 Transport chain and is stamped every 7th link to comply with DOT regulations.

The long end of the ratchet strap features our RTJ hook, which can be used to attach to a wide range of vehicle makes and models. The R hook is designed to work with Ford Vehicles and can slide into small frame holes and twist to lock in place. The T-hook is designed for GM and Dodge vehicles, including Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. The J-hook is commonly used for foreign and import vehicles, including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia. It works well with smaller frame holes or tow loops.

This strap is made from our heavy-duty 2-inch polyester tie-down webbing rated at 12,000 lbs breaking strength. The heavier-duty webbing helps protect against cuts, moisture, and direct sunlight, which are some of the leading causes of damage. Polyester is the ideal webbing for professionals due to its low stretch and high strength. Minimal stretching helps ensure that once your vehicle is secured to the trailer, it does not move out of place on the road.
