Our 4-inch flat hook is primarily used to manufacture 4-inch ratchet straps and 4-inch winch straps. These straps are used for securing extremely heavy and oversized cargo on flatbed trailers.

Flat hooks are the most popular type of flatbed strap end fitting hardware because their wider surface area helps distribute weight evenly and prevents the hardware from becoming unsecured.

4-inch flat hooks are specifically designed to work with 4-inch wide polyester tie-down webbing. Inside the hook, there is a rounded edge designed to prevent the sharp edge of the flat hook from causing cuts or frays to polyester webbing, thereby helping to ensure the longevity of your straps.

This hook hardware has a 16,200 lbs breaking strength and a working load limit of 5,4000 lbs. Flat hooks can attach to either flatbed stake pockets or the rub rails. The black coating around the metal hardware helps to prevent rust and corrosion while outdoors.
