Our 4-inch custom Winch Strap with Flat Hook is AAR approved for railcars and flatbed trailers. This strap is made from our 4-inch wide polyester webbing blend with a 24,000 lbs breaking strength. Polyester is the preferred webbing material for professionals because it offers excellent strength and minimal stretching, helping to ensure that once your cargo is secured, it stays in place and remains secure.

Flat Hooks are the most popular type of hook used for 4-inch winch straps due to the excellent wider surface area that the hook offers to help evenly distribute the weight of your cargo and ensure it does not become unhooked while in transit. The flat hooks hardware is coated with a protective coating that helps prevent corrosion or rust from damaging the hardware and extending the product’s lifespan.

Winch straps can be tightened in place using either 4-inch ratchet hardware or installed flatbed winches along the rub rails.
