Our 2-inch hitch receiver with a 3/4” D-Ring Shackle is built for towing and recovery applications where a vehicle has become stuck in snow, mud, water, sand, or other debris and needs additional help to continue moving. The receiver slides directly into a standard 2-inch trailer hitch and locks in place using the hitch pin included in this kit.

Once installed, this setup allows you to connect tow straps or recovery kinetic ropes to your vehicle without relying on factory tie-down points that may be weaker or hard to access. The receiver and shackle are galvanized and powder-coated to help prevent rust from forming and weakening the hardware over time.
