This 2-inch axle strap with round forged D-rings is specifically designed to wrap around the axle or frame of a vehicle to secure it for transport. Loop the strap over the axle, attach both rings to the snap hook, and attach the snap hook to the trailer. Then crank the ratchet to tighten. Axle straps work great for transporting cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, vans, sports cars, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, tractors, and more.

Axle straps are made from heavy-duty 2-inch polyester tie-down webbing with a 12,000 lbs breaking strength and provide minimal stretch. This helps to ensure that once your vehicle is secured, it does not become unsecured or move out of place while on the road. The webbing also includes a Cordura protective sleeve that helps protect the webbing from cuts or sharp metal edges.

It is then paired with our round forged D-ring hardware, which has a breaking strength of 11,000 lbs. Once assembled, the axle strap has an assembled working load limit of 3,335 lbs per strap. The round d-ring hardware features a protective zinc coating which helps prevent corrosion and rust.
