Our 2-inch custom winch strap with flat hook is a great replacement long end for our 2-inch ratchet straps with flat hooks if they have become damaged and need repair, or for securing cargo on flatbed trailers using installed flatbed winches to tighten the strap in place.

Flat hooks are popular among flatbed truckers mainly because their wider surface provides a larger contact area. This creates a more secure and stable connection along the rub rail, stake pockets, or side anchors on the flatbed trailer. Additionally, it helps distribute pressure more evenly, reducing the risk of the hook shifting, slipping, or coming undone on rough roads.

Polyester is the webbing blend of choice for our winch straps due to its great strength, durability, and minimal stretch. This is ideal for securing cargo on open-air flatbed trailers to prevent it from coming loose during transit. The 2-inch heavy-duty webbing blend has a 12,000 lbs breaking strength and once sewn together, a 3,335 lbs working load limit rating.
